Algiers, 15 July – The Higher National School of Advanced Technologies (ENSTA) hosted an Italian delegation composed of representatives from Environment Park, and Novareckon, the Algerian Green Energy Cluster (AGEC), and the Precision Mechanics Cluster Algeria (CMPA) for a high-level event aimed at strengthening scientific, technological, and industrial cooperation between Algeria and Italy.
The event opened with welcome addresses by Mr. Mohamed Fayçal AMEUR, Director of ENSTA, Mr. Boukhalfa YAICI, Managing Director of the AGEC, and Mr. Adel BENSACI, President of the CMPA. The speakers underlined the importance of international partnerships in promoting innovation, technology transfer, and sustainable industrial development.
Mr. Mattia MIGLIETTA and Mr. Domenico D’ANGELO from Environment Park, Turin, Italy, and Mr. Roberto NUGNES from Novareckon, Turin, Italy, delivered presentations, which focused on their organizations’ activities, technological expertise, and innovation capabilities, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration with Algerian universities—particularly ENSTA—as well as research centers, industrial partners, and innovation ecosystems.
Following a networking coffee break, the Italian delegation visited some of ENSTA’s research laboratories and advanced technological platforms, where researchers showcased the School’s expertise and ongoing activities in robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and other cutting-edge technologies.
The program concluded with B2B meetings bringing together the Italian delegation, representatives of ENSTA, AGEC, CMPA, and industrial stakeholders. The discussions focused on identifying concrete opportunities for cooperation, developing joint research and innovation projects, and promoting technology transfer between the two countries.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Algerian and Italian partners to developing long-term strategic collaborations in research, innovation, advanced technologies, and industrial development, paving the way for future joint initiatives of mutual benefit.
